A Crash Course in New York Law

June 5th, 2013 baschi14

The past two days at American Transit have been a whirl wind! I have been getting a crash course in all the legal proceedings and language I will need for the next two months. While it is a ton information all at once, I am enjoying myself. Everyone is so nice and friendly and so willing to help which makes it really great!

After work I decided to go to the gym for a quick workout. While living at EHS I have a free membership to Eastern Athletic Club. It is a very nice gym complex, complete with a great list of free exercise classes which I will totally be taking advantage of.

Last night I also went to see the Great Gatsby and out to dinner. It was a nice way to unwind from a busy day. We went to the cute little diner across the street from where I am living and then walked to the theater. It was a great way to explore the area and see more of the place that will be my home for the summer.

Today was another busy day full of training. Me and the two other interns sat with a paralegal today and learned how to research and file claims. Tomorrow the group of supervisors will be taking us out to lunch which is sure to be fun! It’s been a busy, but interesting and great two days!
